dirty nickels.

Well I should have had no worries on the baby weening front. She has been refusing the bottle more and more. Especially from me.
Instead she tears at my shirt and bangs her head against my chest in frustration. She wants to nurse.

I need her to nurse.

Today was my last day of treatment. While there is conflicting evidence as to what the drugs would do to her...most doctors say nothing...lactation consultant says...nothing...I just can not reconcile myself with it.

Because if The Juice makes me feel like this....

What is it going to do to my baby?

Oh, Corie. I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time right now. I wish I could be there to help.

Ah! That picture. I. Can't. Stop. Starring.

Treatment is done! How long before you start nursing again? Hopefully it's not long before baby is back on the boob!

See if you can get your hands on "medications and mothers milk" by Thomas Hale.. I would THINK it would have something in there.. that book is awesome about saying which meds are good and bad and contraindicative etc for a nursing mother... I wish I had a copy to help you, but I have some friends that have one if you have the name of the drugs??

Ok I found this:
http://parenting.ivillage.com/newborn/nbreastfeed/0,,3wwt,00.html

Does that help? Your juicing link said something about methylprednisolone, and that's what this link says too..

Wish I could help you more :(

Hoping it all passes soon.

And I also cannot stop staring at that picture.

It's strangely comforting, but oddly disturbing all at the same time.

I would trust the lactation consultant.

That's just me, though. I'm sure that it is very, very nervewracking.

Thinking of you.

And P.S.?

That picture is the creepiest effing thing I've ever seen.

I have to keep putting the comment window over it, so I can't see it.
